Mahalo API & Development Community
By Chris on Aug 22, 2007 in Mahalo, Passing It On
Yes, yes…I know. It’s the week of Mahalo posts. Sorry if it’s getting tedious for you, but we’ve got some cool stuff happening, and I wanted to get the word out.
We’re looking to build a development community. We’re going to be adding API features over the next month or so, and we really want to get feedback on how we can make those as useful possible. To that end, we’ve created a Google Group for folks to join if they wish, and also have set up an IRC channel on freenode (irc://irc.freenode.net/mahalo-dev) for live conversation.
As of this morning, we’ve rolled out OPML feeds for all of our search result pages, and we’re looking for comments and suggestions. Also, we’ve added RSS feeds to our message boards, so you can subscribe to your favorite topics. JSON exports of search result pages are coming soon, as is an OPML directory of the whole system.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Please…let us know.
