Good to hear your reflections on Dragon*Con. For me it was an amazing experience, being my first visit to a science-fiction convention of any kind. I met so many people (yourself included) and it was great to put faces to the voices I know so well. My own musings (first part, anyway) on D*Con are now up in the latest RUR, and I’ve included a couple of the Irish folk tunes from Cathy and Gregory
