More Microformat Goodness on Mahalo

What’s the big deal? Well…if you are on Firefox and install the Operator toolbar, you’ll be able to see metadata about the subjects that you can use in other programs. For example, on the Paris Hotels page, you can export the contact information for any of the hotel directly to your address book for use later thanks to the hCard microformat.
You might remember that we added a few [[[microformats]]] to the Profile pages in Februrary. This is another step in that direction. The goal is to allow you to take the information with you whenever we are able.

Hey Chris, good news, I am glad to see more real-life microformats rolling out.
I recently wrote an microFormats introduction and simple step-by-step tutorial for virtually anyone to get their first “Web 3.0″ microformat page up in 7 minutes or less. Some folks might find it too simplistic, but I thought it was kind of cool do actually do this in a few minutes…
Set up your own Microformat page instantly:

Slightly longer Web 3.0 Overview:

Again, these are intented for non-techies but nevertheless could be interesting…
Thanks, – Charlie
