You know, it’s good to know that we have nothing better to do than worry about ENTERTAINMENT in Congress these days. The economy is great, jobs are solid, and we have the best educational system on the planet.
Government. What a crock.
Allegedly, this is Sarah Palin’s answer to a 2006 candidate question for the Alaska gubernatorial race:
11. Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not? SP: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance
Please…please tell me this is just propaganda, because the Pledge wasn’t even around when the Founding Fathers were doing the whole Founding thing.
I’m taking this with a grain of salt because I found it in an article on the Daily Kos, which…let’s face it…has an axe to grind.
Has anyone heard if this is true?
