- Spent the day yesterday running errands…sold books over at Half-Price Books (and brought home more), dropped Cathy at Wal-Mart and took the time to go catch up with my old friend Matt.
- Visited the new Whole Foods Market in University Heights. How is it that every natural food store smells exactly like every other natural food store? Is that, like, nature, or something?
- Started reading, and am really enjoying, Men of Tomorrow.
- Spend the early afternoon today at my daughters’ home opener for softball season. This time, there qas no blodd, and I obtained a truly magnificent sunburn.
- Sunday afternoon naps are to be savored.
- Made roast beef, rice pilaf with lentils, carrots in a brown sugar glaze and rolls for dinner. Went down well with a Sam Adams Honey Porter.
- Realized that while social media is fun, it’s also lovely to get away from it and get to know the people around town.
- Spent the entire weekend (except for this fifteen minutes) away from the computer. Most excellent.
